Also, during this time frame, Ms. Boothe was the writer, producer and the voice of “Fashion Tips and Tidbits” which aired on WHAT RADIO station for over 2 years.
In order to remain on fashion’s cutting edge, Ms. Boothe has been a buyer in both the national (New York, Dallas, and California) and international (Brazil, Peru, Bolivia) markets.
Currently, Ms. Boothe is a college professor at Clark Atlanta University where she teaches in the Fashion Marketing Department. She has also taught at Bauder College and American Intercontinental University, both in Atlanta. She maintains a myriad of teaching proficiencies which include: Marketing- from both the business and fashion perspectives; Trend Forecasting; Global Retailing; Retail Buying; Consumer and Sales Behavior; Product Development and the Historic Survey of Costume. Within each of the aforementioned areas, is not only the valued, but imperative expertise needed to succeed in a fashion business.
She holds degrees from Central State University (B.S. Sociology/Psychology), Antioch University (M.A. Business/ Organizational Development Concentration), certifications from the London School of Image (Certified Image Consultant) and the Spanish Language School of Philadelphia, Pa.
Ms. Boothe’s affiliations include an active status in Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., and past membership in AICI, Association of Image Consultants International.
